“Since my youth, I think that I have never lost the intuition that community life could be a sign that God is love, and love alone. Gradually the conviction took shape in me that it was essential to create a community with men determined to give their whole life and who would always try to understand one another and be reconciled, a community where kindness of heart and simplicity would be at the centre of everything.”

Lisa,I wanted to let you know that Taize is no longer active at Holy Trinity,
Decatur.I had gone a couple of times,a few other people came, but no one ever came to open the church. It is still listed on their web site and voice
mail, but when I talked to someone in the office she said it was on hiatus, that they hoped to start again at some time in the future.

Thank you, Martha. I had just become aware of that myself and deleted it from the listing. We need to change it on our handout at St Bart’s and other churches as well. Thanks!
