Taizé in May

Greetings! Apologies for the Easter hiatus in writing this newsletter. I hope that you all are savoring the last few days of the season as we near Pentecost!

The Taizé Community in France invites us to explore ways of praying in pilgrimage with all those who are suffering in a time of war. Br. Matthew, the new Prior of Taizé writes:

Faithful God, pilgrim God, you always walk ahead of us.…. Open our hearts to hear the cry of the innocent who suffer from the war inflicted on them. Send your Holy Spirit to accompany us and remind us that it is your Son, Jesus Christ, who is our peace. Through him you will always bless us. Make of us pilgrims of peace.
